3RD Annual “Oragon Awards” Honors Partners in Government Service, Highlights DOLE RCC Bicol Anniversary Celebration
Legazpi City- “Oragon Award” -the highest form of honor, given as a consensus, by the 11-member agencies of the Department of Labor and Employment Regional Coordinating Council (DOLE RCC Bicol) was given to sixty seven (67) “partners” of the DOLE RCC in a solemn ceremony on mid-morning of at the AVP Catering Services, Imelda Roces Avenue, Legazpi City on 8 December 2016.
“The prestigious Oragon Award is the highlight of the weeklong DOLE RCC Bicol’s Anniversary Celebration. This is where we give due credit to everyone who has helped us implement our programs and services,” DOLE Bicol OIC regional director and RCC chairperson Atty. Ma. Karina Perida-Trayvilla said.
The “Oragon Awardees” ranges from individuals to NGOs and Government Offices who have significantly helped any or all of the 11-member agencies of the DOLE implement its programs and services.
“As I’ve said earlier, this award is prestigious because not all partners are actually given an award,” DOLE Bicol Atty. Ma. Karina Perida-Trayvilla added.
The “Oragon Awardees” are carefully, meticulously deliberated and ultimately chosen by the screening committee composed of the DOLE RCC regional heads amongst the many worthy nominees. The award is also the highest form of gratitude from DOLE RCC Bicol.

The DOLE RCC is composed of RTWPB, NCMB, POEA, OWWA, PRC, NLRC, ECC, NRCO, OSHC and the DOLE proper. TESDA previously belonged to the DOLE RCC family but was recently re-aligned to the Office of the President.- fin.
